Iowa's victory over UMass last Saturday was a record-setting day for more than just one member of the program.

The biggest story from Saturday's win was Head Coach Kirk Ferentz notching win No. 206, breaking Woody Hayes' record for most wins all-time in Big Ten History.

Ferentz was emotional on the field following a Gatorade shower and multiple hugs from his players, fellow coaches, and his wife, Mary.

Following a tumultuous start to his tenure in Iowa City, Ferentz stated that the all-time wins record was the "last thing on his mind."

Ferentz also noted it is surreal to be atop the leaderboard for all-time wins, passing greats like Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes.

Ferentz was not the person who had a record-setting night after the win against UMass.

Not to be overshadowed by win No. 206 for Ferentz, Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski broke the Division I record for QB wins with the Iowa win on Saturday.

Gronowski started fast, slinging the ball downfield on two chunk plays, and added a touchdown on Iowa's first offensive drive. The touchdown came with only two minutes into the game.

He would add a second touchdown later in the first quarter as the Hawkeyes took a commanding 20-0 lead after one quarter.

The Iowa offense kept its foot on the gas, adding 10 more points in the second quarter to take a 30-7 lead, and the Hawkeyes never looked back.

Iowa added 17 second-half points, including a 95-punt return touchdown by return specialist Kaden Wetjen, and cruised to a 47-7 victory.

With the victory, Gronowski broke the all-time Division I wins record by a quarterback, notching win No. 51 in his illustrious college football career.

Gronowski broke Kellen Moore's (Boise State) previous record of 50 career wins after tying the record with Iowa's win over Albany during Week One.

Now with 51 wins under his belt, Gronowski will look to continue improving as the Hawkeyes travel to Piscataway, New Jersey, to begin their Big Ten Conference schedule against Rutgers.
