For the first time since the Caitlin Clark era in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes are back in the top 10.
Iowa has done everything right over its current six-game winning streak and has beaten some good teams along the way.
After getting humbled by No. 1 UConn on the road in NYC, the Hawkeyes have rattled off six straight wins and are currently tied for first in the Big Ten Conference with No. 3 UCLA.
Iowa has won in blowouts, and in close games, and are getting recognized for how well it has been playing over this six-game stretch.
Iowa is finally back in the top 10 for the first time since 2023
It has been a little while, but the Hawkeyes have finally cracked the top 10 in the AP rankings for the first time since 2023.

Iowa moved up one spot to No. 10 in the most recent AP Top 25 poll, setting up two top-15 matchups against No. 15 Maryland and No. 12 Ohio State
Led by Hannah Stuelke (14.2 points, 8.5 rebounds per game) and Ava Heiden (16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds per game), the Hawkeyes are getting it done on both ends of the floor.
Iowa currently ranks No. 7 in the Big Ten in points per game (80.2) and No. 11 in opponents' points per game (61.8).
The Hawkeyes also rank No. 4 in the Big Ten in field goal percentage (49.2) and rebounds per game (41.7), and are ranked No. 2 in assists per game (20.9).
A lot of things are going well for the Hawkeyes, and if they can avoid a similar January slump to last season, the sky is the limit.
