When you know, you know, and that is certainly the case for a talented 2029 prospect that the Iowa Football program has stayed in constant contact with.
Kirk Ferentz and his staff are very deliberate in the players they recruit and offer scholarships because they have a certain type of player they like in the system.
Ferentz's no-nonsense approach has helped the program take players and develop them not only into the best players they can be but also into players ready for life after the Iowa program.
Iowa often gets knocked for not heavily pursuing dynamic athletes, but a recent offer seems to buck that trend, as a potential star athlete received an offer from the program.
Devin Hill Jr. received an offer after attending a spring practice
Devin Hill Jr. has been no stranger to Iowa City over the past six months, making multiple visits to campus.
He not only visited the program during Iowa's thrilling win over Michigan State last December, but he also recently visited during a spring practice, and the program extended an offer shortly after.
After a great spring practice at Iowa University and Great conversation with @CoachParkerIowa I’m am blessed to receive my 3rd offer!!@coachBKSmith @RayPecFB @CoachE_777 @ZC_Cunningham @Coach_Kim1 @247Sports @Rivals @JPRockMO pic.twitter.com/qfYzIxbe9y

Hill Jr., a Kansas City, MO native, is a two-way player for Raymore-Peculiar High School, lining up at cornerback and wide receiver.
He looked solid on tape during his freshman season, showcasing his abilities to defend wideouts in man and zone coverage and catch touchdown passes as a wide receiver.
His speed and athleticism are two of his biggest assets, and with Iowa defensive coordinator Phil Parker listed as his primary recruiter, it is projected that the Hawkeyes value him more on defense.
It is still very early in his recruitment process, but after adding an offer from Iowa, Hill Jr. is up to three total offers, with much more on the horizon for the talented two-way player.
