Iowa Men's Basketball is hitting their stride after struggling with inconsistency early in the season.

Ben McCollum has the guys rolling, leading to five consecutive wins ahead of a home matchup against Northwestern on Super Bowl Sunday.

With March right around the corner, the Hawkeyes have inserted themselves into the conversation for a spot in the NCAA Tournament with their recent hot stretch of play.

We are still a month away from Selection Sunday on March 15, but the Hawkeyes are projected to be one of the teams in the field.

Iowa picked up another Quad One win on the road against Washington in Seattle last week, improving its record to 2-5 in Quad One games.

After back-to-back Quad One wins, Big Ten Network analyst Andy Katz has Iowa thoroughly in the NCAA Tournament field.

In one of the first bracketology projections for the start of February, Katz has Iowa headed to Oklahoma City in the South Region to take the 10-seed Georgia in the first round.

If the Hawkeyes advance out of the first round, they would match up against the two-seed Georgia Bulldogs.

If Iowa makes the NCAA Tournament Field, it will be the program's first appearance under Ben McCollum in his first season as head coach, and it will be their first appearance since the 2022-2023 season.

Before we get to March Madness, the Hawkeyes have a critical stretch of games on the horizon against Purdue and rivals Nebraska and Wisconsin.

Iowa also has to play Michigan at home, and finish the season with a huge matchup against Nebraska.

The Hawkeyes are on an upward trajectory entering February and need to maintain their momentum heading into March.
