The 2025 Women's McDonald's All-American Game tipped off at 5:30 p.m. Central Time on April 1 from Brooklyn, New York. The All-American game gives the top senior prospects nationwide a chance to display their skills before college.
The teams are split into East and West, and the talented players on both teams aim to showcase their abilities one last time before the final player rankings are released. All 24 players in the lineups are ranked in the ESPNW top 100 rankings.
The East had won three of the last four games, but the West dominated this contest. The West won the game 104-82 and it was never close.
Iowa Women's Basketball recruit Addie Deal played for the West team during the contest. She did not score many points, but affected the game in other areas. She had several good passes and hustled back on defense.
Deal was open on several occasions, but did not get the service required to score many points.

Deal is ranked as the No. 18 prospect by ESPNW and No. 9 by 247 Sports. She is considered the No.1 prospect from California.
Deal is a six-foot guard from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. She originally committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes on March 12, 2024. Before joining the Hawkeyes, Deal averaged 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 2.8 steals per game for the Mater Dei Monarchs.
Deal is a solid combo guard with the skill set to succeed at both ends of the floor. She is a sharpshooter, but can also create her shot off the dribble. She excels in the pick-and-roll with her ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor or find an open teammate.
The Iowa Hawkeyes have had multiple perimeter players in the past who can shoot or create for teammates, and Deal will be able to do that right away. Head Coach Jan Jensen should be excited to have Deal join her squad in 2025.
