As the Iowa Men's Basketball team prepares for its first season under new Head Coach Ben McCollum, we now know what their schedule looks like for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.

The Hawkeyes finalized their non-conference schedule earlier this month, with seven home games and four to five matchups against NCAA Tournament teams from last season.

The new-look Hawkeyes squad begins the season with a matchup against Robert Morris on November 4, before hosting Xavier on November 14.

The Hawkeyes then travel to Palm Springs, California, from November 25 to 26 to take part in the Acrisure Series.

Other notable non-conference matchups include at Iowa State (December 11) and against Bucknell at the Casey's Center in downtown Des Moines (December 20).

At the end of last week, the Hawkeyes finally learned when they will play each conference foe this season.

Including non-conference games, Iowa will host 17 games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season, the first Big Ten Conference game happening on December 6 against Maryland.

The Hawkeyes begin their Big Ten schedule against Michigan State in East Lansing for a one-game road trip on December 2 before heading back home to host Maryland for the early portion of their Big Ten Conference slate.

Iowa will have back-to-back conference home games twice during the season, including Rutgers (January 20, 2026) and USC (January 28, 2026), followed by Purdue (February 14, 2026) and Nebraska (February 17, 2026).

Iowa will also have back-to-back conference road games twice this season, including at Purdue (January 14, 2026) and at Indiana (January 17, 2026), followed by games at Oregon (February 1, 2026) and at Washington (February 4, 2026).

The Hawkeyes close out the 2025-2026 regular season with a matchup against Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska, on March 8, 2026, before the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament takes place from March 10 to 15, 2026, in Chicago.

The Big Ten Conference projects to be formidable once again this season, and the Hawkeyes will have a tough schedule during Ben McCollum's first season as head coach.
