As we steadily approach spring practices and workouts, the Hawkeyes are staying active on the recruiting trail.
Iowa is very selective with players they offer, especially at the offensive skill positions.
The Hawkeyes are not known as an offensive juggernaut most seasons, but the program has been successful in recruiting and developing talented offensive linemen and tight ends.
Iowa's 2026 recruiting class followed that trend, with three of Iowa's seven four-star commits playing on the offensive line.
The Hawkeyes only have three prospects in the 2027 class, but are already trying to get a jump on the 2028 class by offering a rising wide receiver prospect.
Iowa offered prolific 2028 WR prospect Maximus Curry
Wide receiver prospect Maximus Curry is trying to live up to his amazing name by finding a program that will maximize his potential.
I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Iowa!!@bobbybentley @CoachOYoung @greynolds0823 @BuckFitz @NatlPlaymkrsAca @jaxon_rose8 @Hunter_DeNote @TomLoy247 @ChadSimmons_ @strengthcoach34 @BallHawkU pic.twitter.com/6cHYhvfoLP

Curry is currently a sophomore at Battle Ground Academy in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and if that program sounds familiar, it is because they produced former Hawkeye quarterback CJ Beathard.
Curry is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 recruiting class, but that will definitely change with all the Power Four offers he is racking up.
He currently holds offers from Clemson, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Purdue, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, among many others.
A big part of Curry's meteoric rise up recruiting boards is due to his prolific sophomore campaign last season.
In 14 games for BGA, Curry tallied a massive 1,404 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns
According to Hawk Central, Curry has been impressed with the Iowa program and said they are "pretty high" on his list because the program has been doing a good job of recruiting him.
Curry also stated that his recruitment will come down to who can best develop him and form the best relationship with him.
Iowa will have to battle multiple big-time college football programs to secure Curry's commitment, but it is doing all the right things to lure the talented wide receiver prospect to Iowa City.
