Iowa fans are furious over the first half play of the Hawkeyes against Albany

Well it seems like things haven't really changed for the Iowa Hawkeyes this season.

Iowa football is back, and some fans right now are probably wishing it wasn't. Even though the Hawkeyes have shown a little bit of life in the second quarter on offense, this team is still struggling more than they should against a team they should be able to slice and dice against.

Yes, Iowa is working with a new offense, but things are not looking great at all. Iowa is only up 17-7 at halftime against Albany, a team they should have been able to score at least on the first few drives against. Instead, Iowa punted three times to start off the game, and while Iowa has a great punter, they don't necessarily want to have to use him a lot.

Iowa fans are already done with how this team is playing, and they are letting them know it on social media.

Well, at least Iowa is consistent with its record every season. Iowa football is always the same: elite on defense and terrible on offense, and the past few years, that combination has not worked out very well.

This is a very valid question because it seems like they don't. Can Kirk Ferentz confirm this?

To be fair, they had a really slow start last year, too, and still were able to pull off the win, but yet again, Iowa is showing a slow start against a team they should be beating easily.

Iowa football at its finest.

It is a good thing, but it may not be a pretty thing, so buckle up, Iowa fans, this could be yet another long season.

This is again a very valid questions, someone may want to remind them.

This might be record time for Iowa fans, which you can't really be blamed; this is not easy to watch right now.
