When the Iowa rushing attack is clicking, the offense is difficult to slow down.

That was showcased in the 37-0 win over Wisconsin as the Hawkeyes tallied 210 total rushing yards and four touchdowns.

The Hawkeyes also rushed for an average of 5.8 yards per carry as the Bagers' defense could not stop their potent rushing attack.

Starting running back Kamari Moulton is the clear No. 1 running back in the room, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on 15 attempts on Saturday.

The more surprising performances came from fabulous freshmen, Xavier Williams and Nathan McNeil, who showed why the group is in good hands for years to come.

After suffering an injury against UMass that sidelined him for a few weeks, Williams was finally able to return to the field, showcasing his dynamic running ability. During Saturday's win, Williams rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, including a long of 29 yards.

This is not the first time we have seen Williams showcase his speed and athleticism after he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown in Iowa's opening game against Albany.

When Williams went down against UMass, McNeil filled in admirably, leading the backfield with 56 rushing yards.

On Saturday, McNeil operated as the third-string running back, but still added 40 rushing yards with a 4.4 yards-per-carry average.

With Jaziun Patterson and Terrell Washington Jr. sidelined with injuries, the two freshmen have shown they are capable runners and can fill in when called upon.

Williams has led the backfield on numerous occasions, and if he can stay healthy, he has a strong case to be elevated to No. 2 on the depth chart after compiling 241 rushing yards and three touchdowns in four games this season.
