Iowa Athletics had three teams competing across the country to begin the week. Men's Wrestling, Women's Golf and Swimming and Diving all competed to start the week.
Iowa Men's Wrestling Joey Cruz earns an at-large bid for NCAA Wrestling Championships

Iowa Men's Wrestling finished third at the Big Ten Tournament this past weekend. It was a disappointing finish after the No. 2 Hawkeyes had high hopes going into the season.
After the weekend, Iowa Sophomore wrestler Joey Cruz received one of four at-large bids for the 125-pound weight class.
Cruz finished 10th at the Big Ten Tournament, one spot below the threshold to automatically qualify. Cruz is 16-12 on the season.
The Hawkeyes await seeding for the NCAA Wrestling Championships which will be revealed on March 12 at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
Iowa Women's Golf ties for eighth in South Carolina
Iowa Women's Golf traveled to South Carolina to golf in the Briars Creek Invitational. The Tournament was shortened to 36 holes after rain washed out the round on Monday.
Iowa finished in a three-way tie for eighth place with a total score of 590.
The Hawkeyes' best finishers were Paula Miranda and Ximena Benites, who both finished tied for 17th at one over par.
The Iowa Women's Golf team will return to the links on March 23-25 for the Nashville Invitational in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Iowa completes day two at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships
The University of Iowa hosts the NCAA Zone Diving Championships this week. The Hawkeyes wrapped up day two competing in the one-meter dive.
Iowa had three divers in the event. Senior Makayla Hughbanks finished at 26 overall with 267.30 points. Junior Lainey Woodward finished with 246.55 points, and junior Geneva Pauly finished with 240.65 points.
Geneva Pauly will return on Wednesday, March 12, for the preliminaries for the platform diving event.
