The Iowa Women's Basketball program continues to draw huge crowds. For the second straight season, the Hawkeyes have sold out season tickets at Carver-Hawkeye Arena for Women's hoops, even without the G.O.A.T. Caitlin Clark on the floor.
Caitlin Clark was a HUGE part of the surge in popularity for the program, but attendance numbers have not dwindled, and Carver-Hawkeye Arena continues to be a big-ticket item. Hawkeyes fans and opposing fans alike love Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and it is finally starting to garner recognition.
Even with new schools being added to the Big 10, Carver-Hawkeye still reigns supreme! This list speaks to what we've already known, and that is that Carver is the best venue in women's college basketball.
After Iowa went to the national title game in 2023, ticket sales for women's basketball went from 1.4 million dollars in Clark's senior year to 3.3 million dollars in the first year without her in 2024 (a 400 percent jump in two years).
The Iowa Women's basketball team continues to put people in the seats, and I would not be surprised if Carver-Hawkeye Arena continues to be a fan favorite for years to come.
