The 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend is right around the corner. The league's biggest and brightest stars will take the court on Saturday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m. Central Time in Indianapolis.
At the end of June, it was announced that Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx star, and projected 2025 MVP, Napheesa Collier, were the captains for the 2025 All-Star Game.
Collier is having a stellar season for the No. 1-ranked Minnesota Lynx. She is averaging a career-high, and WNBA-leading, 23.9 points per game, along with 7.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
Caitlin Clark has been struggling to find her form following two separate stint on the sideline with a left quad strain and left groin injury.
Clark is averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game. Her 9.0 assists per game rank second in the WNBA behind Alyssa Thomas' 9.6 assists per game.
As an All-Star Captain, Clark chose Aliyah Boston (Indiana Fever), Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces), and Satou Sabally (Phoenix Mercury) as starters for Team Clark.
Clark also added Kelsey Mitchell (Indiana Fever), Gabby Williams (Seattle Storm), Sonia Citron (Washington Mystics), Kiki Iriafen (Washington Mystics), Jackie Young (Las Vegas Aces), and Kayla Thornton (Golden State Valkyries) as reserves.
On Tuesday, Clark also announced that she will be joining the field for the Starry Three-Point Shooting Contest.

Clark announced she is making her three-point contest debut during her second All-Star Weekend. Clark opted out of the contest during her first selection last season but wanted to participate in the competition this year in Indianapolis.
The main reason Clark wants to participate in the contest this year is that All-Star Weekend is being held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home of the Indiana Fever.
Clark is known for her deep, logo three-point shots, but is struggling with her three-point shot this season.
She is shooting just 28.9 percent (28 of 97) from three-point range this season after suffering two left-leg injuries.
Clark joins a star-studded field of Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), Sonia Citron (Washington Mystics), Kelsey Plum (Los Angeles Sparks), and defending champion Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream).
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game begins Friday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
