Caitlin Clark has done a lot in her young basketball career, from winning awards to breaking records to being named the 2024 Time Athlete of the Year. However, she gets to add another thing to her impressive resume, and it is all thanks to Travis and Jason Kelce.
Clark started out her new year as a guest on the New Heights Podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, one of the most famous sports podcasts in the country. The Kelce brothers, in their third season of the podcast, have brought on more guests throughout the NFL regular season from Freddie Freeman to Bill Murray and Clark is the latest of top-tier guests on the show.
Whenever they bring a guest onto the show, Jason puts together a WWE-style intro that is catered to the career of the person coming on, and Clark's was filled with accolades but didn't even scratch the surface of what she has accomplished. Jason did say that Clark was the most requested person from the fans in the history of the podcast.
Clark, who is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan, expressed her excitement about being on the show with two of some of the best NFL players in history.
"I don't get excited about many things, but this, this was at the top of my list," Clark said after her intro.
The Kelce brothers had a lot to talk about with Clark from her memorable 2024 year, ending her collegiate career and going into the WNBA, winning WNBA Rookie of the Year, and being named the 2024 Time Athlete of the Year.
Of course, Clark didn't just talk about himself but had some fun with the brothers, who are known to talk a lot about other sports, especially the NBA, as Travis believes he could have played in. They asked Clark her thoughts on how to make the NBA ratings higher, but also her thoughts on the league as a whole.
The brothers also had to have a competition with the star Iowa athlete on who could name more Iowa athletes and Jason and Travis were able to hold their own with Clark.
Travis couldn't go without talking to Clark about her Chiefs fandom, and Clark made it very clear she is not a bandwagon fan and lives just three hours from Kansas City, she has been a Chiefs fan for life.
You can watch or listen to Clark's full guest appearance on New Heights on YouTube or Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
