Bennett Stirtz notched two career milestones in a commanding victory over Oregon

When you play as well as Iowa did on the road in Eugene, Oregon, you aren't going to lose many games.

The Hawkeyes are on the road for two games in the Pacific Northwest against Oregon and Washington, and the road trip got started with a bang.

Iowa was stellar on both ends of the court, scoring 84 points on 59 percent shooting from the filed and 45 percent from beyond the three-point line in an 84-66 win over the Oregon Ducks.

As said on the Fox Sports 1 broadcast, when you get down to Iowa by 10 points, it feels like 20, and that was due to the Hawkeyes suffocating defense and a career night for Bennett Stirtz.

Stirtz was locked in all night during Iowa's dominant win over Oregon.

Stirtz finished the game with 32 points on 80 percent shooting from the field and 67 percent from beyond the arc.

Stirtz not only led the team in scoring, but his 32 points set two more milestones in his historic college career.

Stirtz's 32 points is a new career high, and it also gave him over 2,000 total points in his career.

The Iowa program now has four 2,000-plus point scorers in program history, including Luka Garza (2,306), Roy Marble (2,116), and Jordan Bohannon (2,033).

Iowa is now on a four-game winning streak before heading to Seattle to take on the Washington Huskies in its final game of the short road trip before heading back to Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
