Chancey Plagman
Chancey Plagman is a contributor to Dear Old Gold, covering the Iowa Hawkeyes. He is an Iowa native who lives for Hawkeye success across every sport, covering successes and improvements in the programs, as well as a bird's eye view of the Hawks in the scheme of the Big Ten. He enjoys reading, writing, YouTubing, and spending time with family.
Ericka Brockish
Ericka is a national college sports writer for FanSided, and has been covering football, basketball, and other sports for six years. She is a University of Central Florida graduate with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Sports Business Management.
Jordan Underwood
Jordan is the Site Expert for Dear Old Gold, which focuses on University of Iowa athletics. He has 10 years in the broadcast media industry covering a wide variety of topics including sports, news, local weather and politics. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and a die-hard Hawkeyes fan. That means he has witnessed very few titles, and knows how much pain Hawkeyes' fans endure on a daily basis. His hobbies include watching/covering sports, video games, comic book collecting and spending time with his wife Rosane and dog Wrigley. Go Hawks!
Kyle Kommes
Kyle Kommes is a Contributor to Busting Brackets. He plans to provide insight on both men's and women's basketball for power schools and mid-majors. With some experience on a coaching staff for a college basketball team at the NAIA level, Kyle not only knows stats and trends of teams but also the X's and O's for how a team can be successful. He has watched college basketball his entire life and is a college sports fanatic. Kyle has been married for three years and welcomed his son into the world in March of 2025.
