After a hot start to the regular season with new quarterback Daniel Jones at the helm, the Indianapolis Colts were looking like an early lock to make their first playoffs since 2020.

Star running back Jonathan Taylor was looking like an MVP candidate, and Jones had the passing game humming along as the Colts were taking the world by storm.

Indianapolis was sitting at a comfortable 9-4 but have come crashing down to earth lately.

The Colts have lost all three of their quarterbacks, including Jones, Anthony Richardson, and Riley Leonard, prompting the organization to bring 44-year-old Philip Rivers out of retirement.

Indianapolis lost a close 18-16 game against Seattle in Rivers' first start in five years, and they did not fare any better against the San Francisco 49ers during Monday Night Football.

After losing 48-27 to the 49ers, the Colts have now lost their last five games and five of the last six.

While the Colts continue to slid, a familiar face to Hawkeye fans was at the game to cheer on his former squad.

Former Iowa Football and Indianapolis great tight end Dallas Clark was in the building alongside former teammates Pat McAfee and Adam Viniatieri to watch the Colts battle the 49ers.

Earlier this season, Clark was elected to the Colts' ring of honor, making him the 19th player in Indianapolis history to earn that honor.

He was also added to the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame Ballot with fellow former Iowa great Brad Banks.

Even though the Colts ultimately lost and all but knocked themselves out of the playoffs, it was great to see former Iowa great Dallas Clark in attendance.
