The Hawkeyes get a big opportunity to bolster their NCAA Tournament resume tonight as they square off with No. 15 Indiana. Iowa beat the Hoosiers 91-89 earlier this season and hope for a similar result tonight.

Both teams are playing well, with Iowa winning six of its last nine and Indiana winning 10 of its last 13. I’ve got a bet I’m eyeing for this huge Big 10 matchup and you can score a huge payday thanks to Caesars Sportsbook’s fantastic promo: first-bet insurance of up to $1,250!

Iowa vs Indiana Prediction and Pick

The Hawkeyes bested the Hoosiers back in January behind a dazzling 30-point performance from Kris Murray. I think he’s in line for another big game tonight and like the value on Iowa to keep this one close.

Iowa is one of the best teams in the country at protecting the ball, ranking eighth in turnover percentage (14.2%). That’s great news against a team like Indiana, which ranks 277th in defensive turnover percentage (16.6%).

Indiana ranks outside of the top 120 nationally in rebounding and outside of the top 225 in free throw rate, so the Hawkeyes can give themselves extra opportunities to score by capitalizing on those deficiencies.

Typically, Iowa capitalizes on these situational spots as well. The Hawkeyes are 8-5 against the spread (ATS) in their last 13 games as road underdogs, while the Hoosiers are just 1-3 ATS in their last four overall.

This spread is a bit too high for an Iowa team that matches up well with Indiana. Back the Hawkeyes to keep this within the spread and possibly even pull off the upset.

Before you lock in a Hawkeyes bet, just don’t forget to sign up for Caesars Sportsbook first. If Iowa falls short, you’ll get your wager refunded in bonus bets and get a second chance!
