The Iowa Hawkeyes moved up five spots from last week and are now the 19th ranked team in the College Football Playoffs.

Iowa football is now ranked No. 19 in the College Football Playoff poll after a fourth straight victory. The Hawkeyes debuted at No. 24 in the inaugural College Football Playoff rankings last week.

Iowa defeated Nebraska on Black Friday by a final score of 26-20 and are now 4-2 on the season. Iowa is one of five Big Ten teams in this week’s Top 25. Ohio State (No. 4), Indiana (No. 12), Northwestern (No. 14) and Wisconsin (No. 16) are the other four teams.

The Hawkeyes are slated to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini (2-3) on Saturday, Dec. 5 in Champaign, Ill. The game will kickoff at 2:30 pm CT and will be televised on FS1.

Iowa will play No. 16 Wisconsin the week after at Kinnick Stadium. Kickoff time and TV info has not yet been released.
