Iowa Football wide receiver Brandon Smith made an exceptional touchdown grab to extend the Hawkeyes’ lead over Michigan State.
The Iowa Hawkeyes would be perfectly fine if they threw the ball to Brandon Smith on every play. Smith caught his second touchdown of the season in the first quarter against Michigan State to extend the Hawkeyes’ lead to 14-0.
Every pass to Smith may as well be called a 90/10 throw rather than a 50/50 ball. Almost every game it seems like Smith has at least one spectacular catch. Saturday against Michigan State on a gorgeous day at Kinnick Stadium was no different.
Check out Brandon Smith’s circus catch that put Iowa up two touchdowns:
Iowa Football leads Michigan State at halftime 35-0. Brandon Smith has three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown so far, while quarterback Spencer Petras has completed 12-of-19 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. Iowa (0-2) is looking for their first win of the season.
