The Iowa football team’s final home game of 2019 is tomorrow. Here are the three storylines we are watching for as we head into the matchup vs Illinois.

It feels like Iowa football fans have a much different impression of this season now than they did a week ago after knocking off previously undefeated Minnesota. While I think, as many of you do, that this team had more talent than the win column has shown, there is still a possibility for notching a 10-win season, which is something most Iowa football fans would take most years.

It starts though by taking care of business in the final home game of the season tomorrow against Illinois, a team that the Hawks have historically taken care of with ease.

Getting a win here puts the Hawks just two games away from that ten win milestone

Tomorrow’s game isn’t just about wins and losses though. It is senior day for the Iowa football team’s 19 seniors, and it is quite possibly the last time we will see a few underclassmen play (should they decide to declare).

So needless to say, there are quite a few storylines that are in motion. Here are the three I am most interested in seeing.
