The Iowa football team sits at 6-2 after going 2-2 in their last four games, but they could still finish 10-2 by going undefeated in their remaining games.

I know I may be in the minority of Iowa football fans, but I firmly believe the Hawks still have a chance to do something special this year. The Big Ten Championship is still in play, the Rose Bowl is still in play, and theoretically, the College Football Playoff is still in play (although the Hawks would need a lot of help).

With games at #18 Wisconsin, vs #13 Minnesota, vs Illinois, and @Nebraska, the Iowa football team should be favored in three of the four games.

And they’ll need to win all four if they want a shot at any of the above. Granted, there are some really weird scenarios that could see a 3-loss Iowa team still be able to accomplish two of the above, but it’s so unlikely to happen, I am not considering it.

While most don’t believe the Hawks have a chance because of their offense, I would disagree. Their offense isn’t as bad as it has shown, but I wouldn’t necessarily count it as a reason why I think the Hawks can win all four.

Here are the three reasons why the Iowa football team could run the table for the rest of the season though.
