Matt Campbell will regret post-TD comments

Take: Matt Campbell’s comment, which was caught on camera, following the trick play touchdown, will come back to haunt him and Iowa State in the near future.

Because this is a site for all ages, I will paraphrase what Coach Campbell said. Coach Campbell appeared to say something along the lines of, “you think you’re so smart”, presumably targeting the Iowa coaching staff.

If you are on Twitter and want to see what he said, an individual was able to capture it on one of his tweets.

Historically, Kirk Ferentz is not a coach that is known for petty things like running up the score. He usually ignores the noise and goes about his business professionally.

Brian Ferentz, however, is a bit more hot-headed. He speaks his mind a bit more frequently on things that bother him about, for example, recruiting.

Will a comment like this irk Kirk? It is probably to assume that the answer is no.

Will a celebration like that bother Brian? I would guess that the answer is yes.

Iowa State is a drastically improving team and Brian may not get the opportunity to tee off on an unsuspecting Cyclone defense. That doesn’t change the added pleasure he’d get for doing so, however.

Of course, this is all speculation.

Take Temperature: Microwaveable burrito. It’s definitely hot on the surface, but it may or may not be frozen in the middle.
