LeShun Daniels/Akrum Wadley

How neither of these guys are even in camps amazes me. I mean, Wadley is recovering from an injury, but he didn’t even get picked up by a practice squad last year after being waived by Tennessee. Daniels, on the other hand, has been out of football since September of last year when he was released by the Green Bay Packers after spending camp with them.

At Iowa, these two were a dynamic duo with Daniels bulldozing through defenders and Wadley using his agility to avoid them.

Both backs finished in the top-20 career rushing yards for the Iowa football team with Wadley sitting at 4th with 2,872 yards and Daniels sitting at 17th with 1,895 yards.

What’s interesting about each of these guys is Daniels didn’t have as much production as Wadley (which I guess could have hurt him) but he ran a 4.5 40-yard dash at 225 pounds, which is cruising and Wadley didn’t have the testing numbers scouts would have liked but has fantastic game speed that can leave defenders in the dust.

The XFL would be smart to pick up both of these guys for the 2020 season.
