The Iowa football team isn’t known for having a high-powered passing attack, but they have had some good QB-WR duos. Here are the top five.

The Kirk Ferentz era hasn’t been one where the quarterback just lets the ball fly 50 times a game, instead preferring to focus on the rushing attack. A good rushing attack will set up the rest of Kirk’s offensive principles for the Iowa football team.

Despite the Iowa football team’s offense running through the rushing attack, there have been some great quarterback and wide receivers that have come through the program since 1999.

Earlier this year, we broke down the top five quarterbacks in the Kirk Ferentz era and we broke down the top five wide receivers, but who were the top duos? Who worked the best together and had an obvious connection that made the Hawkeye’s offense move?

Here are the top five quarterbacks to wide receiver duos in the Kirk Ferentz era.
