The Iowa Hawkeyes face a daunting road schedule in the Big Ten West this season. How many games will the Iowa football team win in 2019?

Earlier this month, I wrote about which games were imperative to winning the Big Ten. We now all know what the Iowa Hawkeyes need to do to meet their goal of winning the Big Ten.

With a rough road schedule in 2019, however, it isn’t clear what we should expect out of our Hawkeyes. In 2016, Iowa dropped a game to FCS powerhouse, North Dakota State, yet stunned #3 ranked Michigan on a last-second field goal. In 2017, Iowa’s offense couldn’t muster a single point against the Badgers, yet the week prior, Iowa dropped 55 points on Ohio State.

Iowa football has become predictable in that we all know they are going to win 7 or 8 games each year, but the game-by-game guesses are rarely correct.

Well despite the odds being against me, I’m going to go ahead and predict Iowa’s season, game by game. So let’s break down Iowa’s schedule and briefly analyze and predict where Iowa is likely to win and lose.
