The Iowa football team has four players at the 2019 NFL Combine that began today. Here is a preview of each player’s combine expectations.

Although there should have been a few more players from the Iowa football attending the 2019 NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis, we won’t focus too much on that here. Instead, we’re going to be focusing on the four guys who did receive NFL Combine invites: Noah Fant, TJ Hockenson, Anthony Nelson, and Amani Hooker.

The NFL Combine is the most prestigious pre-draft workout event out there, and it is a fantastic opportunity for NFL hopefuls to create buzz heading into Pro Days or to help dispel narratives about them.

How fast a kid runs or how well a kid interviews could literally determine their future. It could mean the difference between going in the first round and going in the third. Now, that’s not always the case, but things like that do happen.

With the combine officially beginning today (weigh-ins, medicals, and interviews take place first before position drills begin Friday), we’re going to take a look at each of the four Iowa football players who will be in attendance and what to expect from them as well as what could hurt or help their draft stock.
