The Iowa basketball team got an impressive win on the road against Indiana last night. Here are our three takeaways from that game.

What a game.

I was cautiously optimist heading into this game that the Iowa basketball team could find a way to beat a quality opponent on the road, but there was still that glimmer of doubt considering they’ve failed a few tests already this season in notching that quality road win.

After watching the game last night though, color me impressed.

Just like we talked about after the Michigan game, this team is resilient and they know how to handle adversity. Basically, they know how to silence all of the couch critics like you and me and go out and play basketball the way they know how.

Before the season began, I pointed out this game as being one of the toughest on the schedule mostly because Assembly Hall is one of the toughest environments in the nation, but that didn’t seem to faze the Hawks one bit.

With a 77 to 72 win in the books, here are the three takeaways from last night’s game.
