The Iowa football team put on an impressive showing Saturday in Bloomington. Today, we hand out our three game balls for best performances.

By now you likely know that the Iowa football team put a beating on the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday. Despite jumping out to a quick 3-0 lead, it was basically all Iowa for the rest of the game as they were able to leave Bloomington, Indiana with another win bringing their season record to 5-1 and their conference record to 2-1. Another strong performance this weekend was enough to convince voters that the Iowa football team deserves a presence in the top-25 poll.

Anytime you have a victory by a 26-point margin, there are a number of players deserving of game balls, but today we are doing the impossible and trying to identify just three players who truly went above and beyond in their performances.

After each game, we take a look at the performances of each player and name our top performers or hand our game balls to the standout players of the game. Today’s list features a two newcomers and a guy is basically a regular on this list, and may be in the running for midseason offensive MVP award which we will be handing out later this week.

Here are our three game balls from Iowa’s win over Indiana.
