Pat Green will join Iowa Marching Band during UNI game to perform ‘Wave on Wave’

Pat Green will be joining the Iowa Marching Band during halftime of the Northern Iowa game to perform “Wave on Wave.”
One of Kirk Ferentz’s favorite singers, Pat Green, will be joining the Hawkeye Marching Band during halftime of the UNI game to perform the song “Wave on Wave.” I think you know all where this is going.
The Hawkeye Marching Band will perform one song before Pat Green joins them for “Wave on Wave.” The performance will create images on the field for the children in the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. The performance with the band will be performed at the south end zone with both the Panther and Hawkeye bands. The director of the UNI Panther Marching Band explained why they will be uniting for halftime.
"While our two universities might be opponents on the football field, we will unite as musicians for the children."
The match up between the Iowa Hawkeyes and Northern Iowa Panthers is set for September 15th in Iowa City, a 6:30 PM central standard time kickoff. The game is known as the “Fight for Iowa” game, for the celebration of the state of Iowa. The game should be a good one under the lights in Kinnick Stadium.
