Madden NFL 19 is just under a month away from release day, and that means it’s time to see which Hawkeyes are rated the highest.

Madden NFL 19 is set to release on August 10th of this year for both PS4, Xbox One and for the first time in a long time, PC. Madden is the only way us Hawkeye fans can play with our team considering NCAA Football is no longer in production. Without further ado, let’s get into the top-5 highest rated Hawkeyes in Madden NFL 19 this year.

Number 5: Adrian Clayborn.

The former Atlanta Falcon Adrian Clayborn is rated an 84 overall this year. Clayborn will be suiting the red, silver and navy blue as he is now a New England Patriot for the 2018 NFL season. The defensive-end looks like he could end up with his first NFL ring after this season if the Patriots are expected to be as good as they look right now come playoff time.

Number 4: Brandon Scherff.

Right guard Brandon Scherff is rated at the glory 90 overall, known as one of the best linemen in the NFL to date. I definitely think that this rating is good, considering Scherff is coming off of an injury that he suffered in October in a loss to Philadelphia in 2017. I’m sure his rating will skyrocket as he always puts on a great performance on the O-line.

Number 3: Mike Daniels.

Right defensive-end Mike Daniels is set at a 91 overall for this year’s Madden NFL video game. The star-studded defensive-end is currently the 93rd best-player in the NFL according to their “top-100 players” list created back in April of this year. Daniels is ready for another dominant season on the Packers D-line. I definitely think this rating could be a little higher, but I’m sure we all can expect that to raise considering he will have standout performances this upcoming season.

Number 2: Micah Hyde.

The second highest-rated Hawkeye this year is strong-safety Micah Hyde. We all remember this name fairly well in black and gold at Iowa. The safety is rated 92 overall for this year’s Madden which is well deserved for the 5-year veteran. Hyde is starting his second season with the Buffalo Bills and looks to continue his incredible coverage downfield this fall.

Number 1: Marshal Yanda.

Marshal Yanda, the right-guard for the Baltimore Ravens, is rated a 92 overall this year. The six-time pro-bowler, 2-time first team All-Pro and 11-year veteran is entering his 12th season, all with the Baltimore Ravens after being selected in the 3rd round in the 2007 NFL Draft (86th overall).
