Northwestern moves up one spot this week after splitting its two games last week.  Northwestern got off to a 14-5 lead but the offense could never find its footing in a 58-47 loss at Michigan on Monday night.  Once again, the Wildcats started fast and never trailed in a 60-52 road victory over Wisconsin on Thursday.  Northwestern is starting to play a little better as it looks to make a late season run.

This week, Northwestern has a couple more opportunities to get some resume boosting wins.  Northwestern will have a quick rematch with Michigan Tuesday night at Allstate Arena just eight days after its first matchup.  Northwestern will then look to get its first victory over Maryland since the Terrapins joined the Big Ten.  That game will be Saturday afternoon in College Park.
