9. Indiana (12-12, 5-7)
Last Week: 7

After a good start to Big Ten play, Indiana has now lost four games in a row and has fallen to 5-7 in Big Ten play.  Indiana had two very tough tests last week and lost both of them.  Indiana never got going in a 71-56 loss at Ohio State on Tuesday night in a game in which the score was closer than the actual game.  Saturday night, in front of a raucous crowd at Assembly Hall, Indiana was able to stick with the Michigan State Spartans.  Ultimately though, MSU held on for a 63-60 win.  Much like Wisconsin, Indiana has a defense that is good enough to keep the Hoosiers in games, but Indiana does not have the offense to push themselves over the top.

After three straight games against the top three teams in the conference, the schedule for Indiana gets much softer.  Indiana will head to the RAC for a road contest against Rutgers on Monday.  It will also have a home game Friday night against Minnesota for the rare Monday, Friday schedule this week.  The Hoosiers will have some chances to move up in the Big Ten standings before the conference tournament.
