Iowa Basketball: Hawkeyes Climbing The Rankings In Big Ten
By Kenny Levine
14. Rutgers (11-14, 2-10)
Last Week: 12
Rutgers falls down to last place in our rankings this week. Rutgers has at least been competitive in most of its performances this season. However with an offense that struggles to score, the wins have still been hard to come by. The Scarlet Knights lost both of its games last week and now sit at 2-10 in the Big Ten. Rutgers went to Champaign, Illinois last Tuesday and got destroyed 91-60 by the Illini. It followed that performance with a hard fought 78-76 loss against Purdue.
Rutgers has a quick turnaround as it will host Indiana Monday night. Rutgers really needs a win to gain some confidence heading towards the stretch run. After Monday night, Rutgers will head back on the road this weekend. Rutgers will face Nebraska on Saturday night. Nebraska has lost just one game at home all season.
