It was a hit and miss week for Iowa this past week.  Iowa split its two games this week.  It started with a great performance in a win over Minnesota on Tuesday.  However the Hawkeyes followed that up with a rough performance Saturday night at Penn State.  It’s time to see how that affected Iowa in this week’s Big Ten power rankings.

It was another week in the Big Ten where the top teams in the conference continued to separate themselves from the rest.  Purdue, Ohio State, and Michigan State continued to win and are now locked into what looks to be a 3-team battle for the Big Ten regular season championship.  A few teams, most notably Indiana and Wisconsin, are really starting to struggle as a result of key injuries, while a few teams are looking to make a late season push.

Here at Dear Old Gold, we provide an update on the Big Ten with our weekly power rankings.  The rankings do not directly reflect the standings, it is more on how the team is playing currently. With that, here are the rankings for this week.
