Indiana started the week off well.  The Hoosiers knocked off Maryland on Monday for its fifth conference win.  However, the Hoosiers then turned around and lost at Illinois on Friday, becoming the first team to lose against Illinois in Big Ten play.  Indiana the returned home for a Sunday showdown against arch rival Purdue.  The Hoosiers started the game off strong, but in a close, tight battle Purdue was able to pull away down the stretch and get the win.  Indiana stays put at 7 after a 1-2 week.

The Big Ten certainly did not do Indiana any favors when it comes to their schedule.  After hosting Purdue on Sunday, Indiana will face Ohio State in Columbus Tuesday night, followed by a home game against Michigan State.  After a strong start to conference play, the Hoosiers schedule is evening out and it will get some tough tests coming up.
