8. Northwestern (13-9, 4-5)
Last Week: 8

A second consecutive win has the Wildcats back out of the bottom of the Big Ten standings.  While the wins are not overly impressive (vs Penn State, at Minnesota), the Wildcats are still starting to play better.  Given the talent on experience on the roster, I would not be at all surprised to see this team make a run in the second half of Big Ten play.

After six days off, Northwestern returns to the court Monday night when they face Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Northwestern will continue play its third consecutive road game when it faces Wisconsin on Thursday at the Kohl Center.
