When you have an offense as challenged at s Wisconsin, giving up an average of 80 points per game during its two games last will generally not be a good thing for a team.  Wisconsin’s denfese struggled in both of its losses last week.  The Badgers started the week with an 85-67 loss at Iowa and responded with a 76-61 loss at Michigan State.  Wisconsin drops three spots in the rankings this week.

The Badgers will have three games this week, starting with a home game versus Nebraska on Monday.  Wisconsin will follow that up with another home contest Thursday night against Northwestern.  Lastly, the Badgers will travel to College Park to take on Maryland next Sunday.  With just nine regular season games to go, it is looking like the streak of 19 consecutive years making the NCAA Tournament will be snapped.
