Last week, we talked about how Rutgers was punished unfairly.  This week, Rutgers stays at 12 despite having two bad games.  The offense really struggled for the Scarlet Knight this week.  Rutgers began the week with a 60-54 home loss against Nebraska on Wednesday.  It followed that performance with a 60-43 drubbing at Penn State on Saturday.  These were two games where the Scarlet Knights could have won to take a positive step forward, but instead it lost both contests and finds itself firmly at the bottom of the Big Ten standings.

Rutgers will hit the road in its first of two games this week.  The Scarlet Knights will take on Illinois, who will be looking to win its second game in a row.  That game will be followed by a tall task, literally.  Rutgers will play host to 7-foot-2 Isaac Haas and the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday.
