This week in the Big Ten we had Illinois get its first win and we had Ohio State get its first loss.  Ohio State was on the ropes Monday night against Nebraska but the Buckeyes were able to make big plays down the stretch in a 64-59 win.  However, the Bucks could not overcome terrific shooting by Penn State on Thursday.  Despte Keita-Bates Diop trying to single-handedly bring Ohio State back, Tony Carr nailed a buzzer beater to give Ohio State its first Big Ten loss.

Ohio State returns to the hardwood for two more home games this week.  It will host Indiana on Tuesday night followed by another home game, its fourth straight, against Illinois on Sunday.  Despite the loss, Ohio State has still shocked everybody with its play this season.
