Michigan stays at the 5 slot this week.  After three games the previous week, the Wolverines had just one game this week.  Michigan went into Mackey Arena and gave Purdue everything it could handle for the second time this season.  Unfortunately for the second time this season, Michigan also lost the game against Purdue.

Michigan is back in action for two home games this week.  Michigan starts with a home contest against Northwestern Monday night.  They stay at home and will face a struggling Minnesota team Saturday afternoon.  This will be a good opportunity for Michigan to stay in position for a double-bye in the Big Ten tournament.
