Iowa Basketball Hawkeyes Remain Near Bottom In Our Big Ten Rankings

Minnesota had a couple positives happen for them this week. The Gophers were able to get a win, an overtime victory at Penn State last Tuesday. While the Gophers followed that up with losses at Maryland, and a loss to Ohio State at Madison Square Garden, it also got starting guard Amir Coffey back in the lineup. The return of Coffey should help a Minnesota offense that has been very suspect of late.
The Gophers have just one game this week. Minnesota will host Northwestern on Tuesday night. Minnesota should be motivated as just two weeks ago, Northwestern dominated the Gophers in a 84-60 victory for the Wildcats. If Minnesota wants to salvage something from its season, a win on Tuesday would be a very good start.
