11. Penn State (13-8, 3-5)
Last Week: 7

Penn State is an extremely frustrating team.  It has some of the best young talent in all of the Big Ten, and yet it does not have the wins to reflect that.  Penn State had a golden opportunity this week to finally get itself in position to make a run in the Big Ten.  Then the Nittany Lions turn around and lose at home to a Minnesota team that looked dead just a week ago.  It followed that up on Saturday by blowing a 59-55 lead late at Northwestern in a 70-61 loss.  As a result, Penn State drops from 7 last week all the way down to 11 this week.

Penn State travels to Columbus to face Ohio State Thursday night.  It will then return home to State College to take on Rutgers.  This Penn State team has shown that it can beat just about anybody.  However, the Nittany Lions have also shown that it can lose to anybody.
