Maryland missed a golden opportunity this week.  Maryland is firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble in all of its latest predictions.  One thing the Terrapins are missing this season are quality wins.  It had a major opportunity this week.  Maryland came from down 8 late in the second half to take a 67-66 lead with 3 seconds left.  However, on the ensuing possession Maryland fouled Michigan.  Two free-throws later, Maryland lost a 68-67 heartbreaker.  The Terps came back and got a win over Minnesota but missed out on a great chance to get a signature win.

This week, Maryland will have another chance at a big win.  The week starts with a trip to Bloomington to take on Indiana Monday night in a hostile environment.  That is followed by the start of a brutal three game stretch for Maryland.  Maryland returns home next Sunday when Michigan State comes to town.
