Like the two teams ranked behind them, Wisconsin also moves up one spot in the rankings.  The Badgers had just one game last week and it was a loss at Nebraska.  Like many of its games this year, Wisconsin struggled to score on offense but its defense kept the game within striking distance.  The problem for the Badgers is that due to injuries to guards D’Mitrik Trice and Kobe King, Ethan Happ has to do so much for Wisconsin’s offense.

Wisconsin has two games coming up this week.  It returns to action Tuesday after a week off to take on Purdue at Mackey Arena.  However, that game will be followed up by a home game against winless Illinois.  The Badgers are still a team that I can’t figure out.  It has struggled to beat teams on the road, but the Kohl Center is still a tough place to play for opponents.
