11. Northwestern (11-8, 2-4)
Last Week: 12

Northwestern moved up one spot in the power rankings this week.  It looked as though the Wildcats might have taken a step in the right direction with a dominating win over the aforementioned struggling Minnesota squad.  However, it followed that up with a poor performance in a road loss at Indiana.

Northwestern will have two home games this week as it looks to turn its season around.  The Wildcats take on the hottest team in the Big Ten, and possibly the entire nation, Ohio State on Wednesday.  It will stay at home and battle Penn State on Saturday in Rosemont.  Northwestern needs to play better if it wants to make its second NCAA Tournament in school history.
