Iowa Basketball: Big Ten Power Rankings, Hawkeyes Move Up From The Bottom

Minnesota is a mess. There is a dark cloud over the basketball program thanks to the Reggie Lynch sexual assault situation. Due to that, their starting center is suspended indefinitely and to add on, starting forward Amir Coffey is out for a while. Minnesota got destroyed in a road loss to Northwestern. It followed that up with an 81-47 loss at home against Purdue.
Minnesota now has three games upcoming this week. The Gophers start with road contests at Penn State on Monday and at Maryland on Thursday. Saturday night, Minnesota will take on Ohio State. Minnesota looked like a shell of the team that was supposed to contend for the Big Ten championship at the beginning of the year.
