11.  Rutgers (11-6, 1-3)

Rutgers is a confusing team this season.  It got a huge upset win over Seton Hall in non-conference play but turned around and lost consecutive home games against Stony Brook and Hartford just before conference play started.  Rutgers clearly has some talent, but sometimes it struggles to put it all together.

Rutgers split its two conference games this week.  They got clobbered 82-51 at Purdue in Mackey Arena but turned around and beat Wisconsin 64-60 on Friday.  Junior guard Corey Sanders had a big night against the Badgers with 23 points on 10/19 shooting.  It’s clear that this team is at least competitive under Steve Pikiell.  However, next week could be tough as Rutgers plays at Michigan State on Wednesday and returns home to face red-hot Ohio State on Sunday.
