There are four, maybe five good teams in the Big Ten so far this season.  Michigan is one of them.   Despite losing D.J. Wilson, Derrick Walton Jr., and Zak Irvin, Michigan finds iteself in a very similar spot this season then it was last season.  Michigan had big wins at Texas and against UCLA and survived an injury to Mo Wagner in non-conference play.  The Wolverines look like  a clear NCAA Tournament team.

Michigan won both of its games this week.  They took care of Iowa in a game in which the final score was closer than the actual game showed.  On Saturday, the Wolverines overcame a sloppy first half to beat Illinois 79-69.  The schedule makers certainly did Michigan no favors.  The week after playing both undefeated teams, Michigan plays a home game against Purdue Tuesday night and then travels to East Lansing to take on what should be an angry Michigan State team.  Good luck Wolverines.
