I’m feeling bullish about the Cornhuskers.  After some early season  struggles that included losses to St. John’s and UCF, Nebraska has responded well and has looked very impressive of late.  The Big Ten schedule did the Huskers no favors.  Due to an extremely tough nonconference schedule, Nebraska had a stretch of four games against Michigan State, Minnesota, Creighton, and Kansas. Nebraska won that game against Minnesota and lost to Kansas on a game-winning shot.

This week, Nebraska won an ugly game against Nothwestern and hung tough with a Purdue team that is undefeated in the Big Ten.  Transfers Isaac Copeland and James Palmer Jr. are making a big impact for Nebraska.  The Huskers look to keep it going this week as they host Wisconsin Tuesday night and travel to State College to take on Penn State on Friday.
