The 2017 Iowa Hawkeyes team, in a word, underachieved. They either played close games and won, won the games they weren’t supposed to win or stepped down to their competition and played poorly. The Hawkeyes ended the year with a record of 7-5 including being 4-5 in the Big Ten.

They were somewhat of a disappointment.

In this third part of a three-part series, we will look at Iowa’s third set of games, the final four. In the third set, they posted a 2-2 record with two big wins and two disappointing losses. How did their fare in each game, what was the deciding factor and who was the game’s offensive and defensive star?
